HILARIOUS: CNN Goes 21 Days Without Any Show Reaching 1 Million Views!

Source: CNN

The network that likes to call itself “the most trusted name in news” is struggling to maintain its viewership lately. So much so that none of its shows have managed to get over a million views. A number that is fairly common with YouTube channels with a fraction of production quality and investment like CNN.

Starting from September, all the way until the first two weeks of October, the network went without any program averaging 1 million viewers. For 21 days straight, they had less than a million sustained views ON ANY ONE OF THEIR SHOWS.

While conservative networks like Fox News are killing both in terms of viewership and ratings, liberal networks like CNN and MSNBC are continually struggling to get even close to Fox’s audience.

Comparing the top three networks, CNN’s weekday primetime shows are averaging at just 729,000 while MSNBC is just ahead with 1.5millions viewers. Fox News topping way ahead of both networks with 2.6 million according to Nielsen data.

CNN’s “most watched” program is “AC:360” hosted by Anderson Cooper. This show averaged 916,000 viewers in September. And now is even further down by 17 percent at just 759,000 views.

Comparing that with MSNBC, their top show “All In with Chris Hayes” averaged around 1.4 million views at the same time.

Topping the two, by a large majority is Fox News’ most-watched program “Tucker Carlson Tonight” which is averaging over 3 million views. Outperforming both CNN and MSNBC with a massive lead.

Comparing other shows on the three networks, CNN’s “Cuomo Prime Time” hosted by Chris Cuomo averages 818,000 viewers and is continually dropping every month. While MSNBC’s “The Rachael Maddow Show” is averaging around 2.17 million viewers.

Again, leading in that time slot is Fox News’ “Hannity” with over 2.76 million views in the same time slot.

Other shows in that time slot are CNN’s Don Lemon Show that averages at 619,000 views. MSNBC’s “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell” reached 1.3 million viewers and once again, Fox led this time slot as well with “The Ingraham Angle” averaging over 2.2 million views.

When talking about CNN’s low ratings, who could forget about the “ratings killer” aka Brian Stelter. Stelter’s show has only managed to exceed 1 million views twice since March. And continues to average at 665,000 or even lower at times.

What do you make of these disastrous ratings that CNN is experiencing? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
