Don Lemon Apologizes for BLM Riots; Says Merchandise “Can Be Replaced”

Sexual predator and sometime news anchor Don Lemon is in the news again. This time it’s not for sexual assault, as The Raging Patriot has previously reported. It’s for appearing the justify the BLM riots of 2020 while also condemning the capital storming that took place January 6th.

When the topics came up in discussion with CNN’s Brianna Keilar, TrendingPolitics.com reported the following “There are many people who agree with the judge who conflates the two. They don’t see the difference between riots, where someone is breaking into a shoe store and looting, and a riot where you have people entering the Capitol while Congress is in session certifying an election,” said CNN host Brianna Keilar.

Watch the whole exchange here.

“One, a shoe can be replaced. And the vote is the value of a shoe,” Lemon began. “That is — you can take a shoe and fix it or get another one. Right? Or an insurance policy can replace a shoe. An insurance policy cannot replace the democracy or fix our broken republic or fix racism or fix a lie that has been spread by one person and the people who enable him. So there is quite a difference,” added the pro-riot leftist.

“I think the people who see the same, want to see the same, again, not operating in reality. And if you look at the reality check of what John said, if you look at the reality check of having George Floyd’s brother on and you see what’s happening in the New York City Police Department, you see what is happening all over the country, again, people see what they want to see and they allow their own racism to come to light. We see it. We get it. But you don’t want to see it and you don’t want to get it. So those who are saying that this is not systemic racism, there is no difference between those things, come on, you’re not working,” Lemon concluded.

Lemon clear has a rather tone-deaf ear on the topic of the riots. He seems to forget the innumerable damages done, or worse seems to not much care. This kind of cowardly apologia greatly benefits the organization know as Black Lives Matter. I have stated in a previous polemic on BLM that “We have been sold a rather ridiculous bill of goods by race-baiters such as Ibram Kendi and Robin DiAngelo that any criticism of the doctrine or methods of Black Lives Matter is automatically conflated with racism towards blacks as people. Now, this is a flame of moral and intellectual confusion that has caressed the hills and began its descent upon our sleepy little Hamlet with alarming intensity”. In that piece I went on to write that “this moral blackmail has, in most cases, immunized the organization known as Black Lives Matter against any sort of criticism, as pundits and commentators would have to endlessly (and unfairly) beat back charges of racism from chattering ideologues”.

Lemon appears to be the perfect antidote to the brave journalists that have had the frightening clarity and tenacity to criticize the organization known as Black Lives Matter to do see the “mostly peaceful protests” for what they are… riots.
