BASED Actor Daniel Craig says he believes James Bond SHOULD NOT be a woman

James Bond actor Daniel Craig suggested the character should not be played by a woman. In an interview with Radio Times, Craig spoke about the next 007, as he will be concluding his time in the role after the upcoming release of No Time To Die.

With regard to the proposition of a female Bond, Craig said, “The answer to that is very simple. There should simply be better parts for women and actors of color.” Continuing, he posed the question, “Why should a woman play James Bond when there should be a part just as good as James Bond, but for a woman?”

Although the gender transition would be a first for the franchise, in the current era of gender-inclusivity and fluidity, the potential for a female Bond is not unpopular to some fans. The Times reported, “In the 18 months or so that No Time To Die has been in limbo, the conversation has started to shift away from the film itself, as longtime fans begin to speculate on the future of the James Bond franchise.”

Potential replacements include Scottish actor Sam Heughan, popularized by the show Outlander, and Ugandan-British actor and writer Daniel Kaluuya, known for his role in Get Out.
