US MILITARY FIGHTS BACK: Hundreds of US citizens, Afghan soldiers successfully evacuated from Afghanistan via secret CIA base

Hundreds of US citizens and at-risk Afghans were successfully evacuated through an undercover operation during the last weeks of August.

According to information obtained by Politico, US officials directed evacuees to a secret Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) base outside of Kabu where at least 1,000 members of the Afghan special forces and their families were rescued. Politico’s analysis suggests some of the Afghans were flown from “Eagle Base” in Afghanistan to Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

The full extent of the operation has not been publicly released, and Politico’s information emerged anonymously from a senior administration official, a defense official, and a congressional official. The CIA has yet to release a statement regarding the evacuation via its secret base.

Since the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan, the evacuation of American citizens and fleeing Afghans became an overwhelming and desperate scene. Horrific reports of the Taliban persecuting Christiansforcibly marrying young girls, and parading in American military uniforms have surfaced.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration scrambled to save American citizens and Afghan refugees while saving face. Last week, 13 US service members were killed in an attack for which ISIS claimed responsibility. Evacuation efforts were limited in nature, and after ending operations on Monday, it was revealed that over 100 Americans remain trapped in the country.
