“Don’t You Think Our Military Deserves Better?”; Speaker Nancy Pelosi Refuses To Allow The Names Of The Lost 13 US Service Members To Be Read On The House Floor

Always anxious to scramble to new lows in terms of morality and respect, Speaker Nancy Pelosi can now plant her flag of moral turpitude into a new base. She has blocked member of Congress from reading the names of the brave 13 soldiers who gave their lives in service to their country in Afghanistan last week.

As TrendingPolitics.com reports, On Tuesday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi blocked the names of the 13 United States service members who died due to President Joe Biden’s incompetence, from being read allowed on the House floor after a moment of silence.

“How badly do Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats want to cover up this Afghanistan debacle? They just blocked Members of Congress from reading the names of the service members who sacrificed their lives in Afghanistan last week.” Congressman Gimenez said on Tuesday. “Don’t you think our military deserves better?” he continued.

Additionally, GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy tweeted what his intentions were in terms of honoring the fallen soldiers, “I have requested to read the names and hold a moment of silence for the 13 fallen service members when Congress convenes tomorrow morning. I hope Speaker Pelosi recognizes my request and that the People’s House will honor these heroes as soon as possible.”

The lack of attention paid to this request (which in this author’s opinion should be mandatory) was shown in chilling force after Representative and combat veteran Brian Mast of Florida told “The Floridian” that their request was not honored. “

Rep. Brian Mast (R), a wounded combat veteran from Afghanistan, tells The Floridian that during a Republican-only “moment of silence,” Speaker Pelosi refused to recognize them to” read names or bring up bills or anything.” “We gaveled in, had a prayer, said the Pledge of Allegiance, took a moment of silence with pretty much all Republican veterans, then asked to be recognized to read names and bring up Afghanistan legislation. They did not acknowledge us, and just closed the House down,” said Rep. Mast.”

With a knack for moral relativism that is difficult to obtain and even more dangerous to possess, the Speaker Pelosi truly has shown her contempt for the American service members who, it could be argued, are only dead because of the bungling of her boss, Joe Biden, in the matter of Afghanistan.
