Following TWO FULL WEEKS of Biden taking ZERO questions, Biden’s comm director says Biden ‘NEVER shies away from questions’

President Biden’s Communications Director said Biden “never shies away from questions,” despite clear incidences of the President ignoring questions and walking away from reporters.

When a reporter asked if Biden will take direct questions after his White House remarks, Director Kate Bedingfield said, “The president never shies away from taking questions. I’ll let him make a decision if he’s going to take questions this afternoon. But you saw he just did a full sit-down interview on this just yesterday. He is always willing to take questions.”

Following the unsuccessful withdrawal of the American military from Afghanistan and the takeover of the Taliban, President Biden gave minimal remarks and expressed apathy regarding the international crisis.

Since his administration entered the White House, Biden’s relationship with the press has been rocky, from making odd statements to being cut off from questions. Biden’s record-low engagement with the media limits the reporting on White House affairs and Presidential leadership.

Reporting by Fox News suggests, “His ABC News appearance with George Stephanopoulos this week marked just his ninth since taking office. Former Presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama had 50 and 113, respectively, at the same point in their presidencies.”
