After postponing his departure from the Whitehouse on Friday, Joe Biden is set to resume his vacation at his Wilmington, Delaware residence starting Saturday.
So far, there are not many actual press events that President Biden has been a part of after the official withdrawal from Afghanistan. He only made a short speech on Friday that many including Democrat supporters called “scripted” and he didn’t take any questions from the White House Press Pool after this short scripted speech. After this speech, he gave an exclusive interview to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos who is also a prominent Democrat donor and supporter.
According to the president’s schedule, he is planning to leave the White House on Saturday at noon and will be heading to his Wilmington, Delaware resident for an extended vacation.
Conservative journalist Jack Posobeic on Thursday reported that Biden is not sleeping well and wants to go home to Delaware after taking a separate vacation last weekend.
“Biden telling staff he wants to go back to Delaware. Hasn’t been sleeping well all this week. Thinks he will be more functional if he stays over at home in Wilmington,” Posobeic reported.
Just after an hour of Jack Posobiec reporting this, WMAL News confirmed that President Biden is going home to Wilmington, Delaware for a long weekend sourcing FAA’s website.
“President Biden, who has spent the last few days traveling between the White House and Camp David, is scheduled to head to Delaware for a long weekend,” WMAL News tweeted. “That’s according to the FAA’s website.”
Many on the left and news networks that supported Biden in the 2020 election are now calling him out for lack of leadership in this critical time.
