Former President Donald Trump has given a speech at the Big Dog Ranch Rescue event, which planned to raise $500,000 to bring 500 dogs from China to the United States, the group’s founder president told an NBC affiliate:
“I’m with you 100 percent. We had many meetings in the White House and the Oval Office having to do with saving and helping dogs!” he stated onstage while wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat.
“The fundraiser was sold out and so was spread over 2 days to allow for social distancing and raises funds to save abused, abandoned and injured dogs and to bring dogs from China who would otherwise be victims of the horrific dog meat trade,” he stated.
The former president also spoke onstage about his daughter-in-law possibly deciding to run for Senate.
“I don’t know. You’re running for the Senate. I hear she’s going to run for the Senate,” former President Trump told attendees Friday.
Former President Donald Trump has talked about a 2024 run, telling the crowd at CPAC that he “may even decide to beat them for a third time,” which refers to his 2016 win and the 2020 presidential election.
