Biden Says He Will ‘Assert Control’ and Begin Forming a New Government if the Media Declares Him the Winner

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden said that if he is declared the winner by the media tonight he will immediately “assert control” and begin forming a new government. Campaign advisers said that if Biden is declared the “mathematical president-elect” he will address the country tonight despite potential challenges from President Trump.

Biden’s team said that they even have “blueprints for staffing every single agency” including planning executive orders to reverse orders issued by Trump. The team says they are planning on asserting power quickly because of what happened in the 2000 election. That year, George Bush declared victory over Al Gore and began acting like the president-elect. Gore did not and lost.

Jen O’Malley Dillon, Biden campaign manager, said, “We’re not really concerned about what Donald Trump says. We’re going to use our data, our understanding of where this is headed, and make sure that the vice president is addressing the American people.” But Trump said on Tuesday that he would only declare victory when it is clear because “there’s no reason to play games”.

There is a high chance that America will not know who won the election tonight. Votes aren’t certified for several weeks after the election, but using election experts and analyzing provable time-tested metrics news organizations are able to call a winner. But that is likely to not be able to happen because of the massive number of mail-in ballots that will be hard to calculate.

Democrats are very hopeful that Biden will win, they hate the President, and as seen in the past, they will do anything and everything they can to keep him from winning. It’s seeming unlikely that Biden will win as massive numbers are showing up for Trump rallies and sporting their MAGA gear. Biden has had staggeringly low numbers at his rallies and parades.
