President Trump and The First Lady Test Positive for Covid-19

In a surprise turn of events, President Donald Trump announced via Twitter last night that he and his wife had tested positive for COVID-19. According to Mark Meadows, the White House Chief of Staff, the President has mild symptoms currently and remains in good spirits.

This is news comes shortly after Hope Hicks tested positive for the virus. She was on Air Force One heading to the debate with the President so it is appearing likely that they all either contracted it at the same time or someone spread it to everyone else on the plane.

Market Spooked By The News

The DOW Jones futures dove sharply soon after the President announced he tested positive. Fortunately, the market has since recovered slightly and the DOW Jones is now down less than 1%.
