Joshua Bellamy, Former Wide-Receiver for the Jets, Ripped off $1.2M in COVID-19 Relief Funds

Bellamy is being federally prosecuted after a complaint was filed in the Southern District of Florida stating he obtained $1.2 million in fraudulent loans from the Payment Protection Program for his company “Drip Entertainment”. After illegally receiving the funds he spent the cash on at high-end retail stores purchasing luxury items. The complaint states, “On June 8, 2020, BELLAMY purchased $5281.60 in goods at Gucci and $1020.98 at Milano Exchange. On June 14, 2020, BELLAM spent $2014.80 at Dior”. The statement continued that his bank records also reflect various expenditures to airlines and hotels. Over $6000 was spent on various airlines from May 28 to July 24, 2020. The complaint also details that he spent $62,774 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. So far, there is no comment from Bellamy’s attorneys.
